John R. Schaffner

President and CEO

John has held numerous senior management positions in his three decades of work in the leasing and finance industry. He was vice president of operations integration at CIT/Newcourt in Indianapolis, where he was responsible for integrating merger, acquisition, major vendor and third-party servicing portfolios. Prior to CIT/Newcourt John was involved in portfolio administration and related duties at Circle Business Credit and Lessor Capital Services, both of Indianapolis. John earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University.


Douglas R. Williams

Vice President and CIO

Doug brings a strong technology background to JDR Solutions. He has created IT infrastructure, e-commerce websites and international application service provider solutions, and was director of custom development at CIT/Newcourt. He was a licensed stock broker and director of application security for online trading services, and a manager and IT specialist in the health care industry. Doug studied agricultural business and music at Vincennes University.


Richard V. Lewis

Vice President of Business Integration

Richard is uniquely qualified to integrate new JDR clients, having held several senior-level assignments at CIT and Newcourt Credit Group, including senior vice president of business integration. He was information systems manager for Merchants National Bank, worked for Xerox Credit Corp. and was an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Richard earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and economics from Purdue University.


William A. Johnson

Investment Partner

Although retired Bill works part-time for JDR as an accountant. He has over 50 years of experience in tax management and accounting. In the 1960s as a controller for a family owned business he helped develop the first computer applications for a wholesale lumber distribution business. He was a third-party administrator and later chief financial officer/treasurer for Edward B. Morris Associates Inc. Bill earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Davenport College.

Staff in the U.S. and Canada, with more than 400 years of combined experience in lease servicing, banking, database administration, website development and information technology.
